Josh Klamka

Hailing from Albany, New York, Josh Klamka is an innovative keyboardist and performer based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He leads a pop/fusion quartet of genre-bending music under his own name. Josh Klamka is currently studying Jazz piano at Temple University, and teaches group and private lessons at the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz.

Josh Klamka began studying classical piano at age 5 at The Music Studio in Albany, and began studying jazz at age 14 with Brian Axford and David Gleason. While living in Albany, Josh Klamka formed the Center Square Jazz Collective with other like minded young musicians. He was the recipient of the Woody Herman Jazz Award from his high school, and was a member of Empire State Youth Jazz Orchestra. Josh later moved to Philadelphia to study Jazz piano at Temple University, studying with Tim Brey, Elio Villafranca, Bruce Barth, Vicente Archer, and Matt Brewer.
