Janne Halonen
I'm a Finnish guitarist /composer /songwriter. I moved to Helsinki from Jyväskylä in August 2000 to study at Stadia's program of pop/jazz -music. I graduated in spring 2006.
Carnivàle is my world jazz quintet. The band was founded in january 2006. The music consists of original compositions by myself and pianist Tommi Karhusaari. The Debut album was released in February 2008. In addition to Carnivàle I write songs regularly with a few friends of mine, play a lot of guitar in various projects, and teach guitar in Helsinki.
