Hayley
Hayley Kavanagh is a Dublin-based saxophonist and flautist. After several years living and performing in Prague and Berlin, she returned to Ireland in 2023 and has since become an active voice in the local jazz scene.
She leads her own quartet, has performed at events such as the Bray Jazz Festival and with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra Big Band, and appears regularly with projects such as So-Young Yoon’s Master Album Series and the Genuine Jazz Orchestra.
Kavanagh has shared the stage with leading Irish improvisers including Scott Flanigan, Kevin Brady, Dave Redmond, Linley Hamilton, Cathal Roche, Derek Whyte, Aleka Pontinga, Brendan Doyle, and Chris Guilfoyle.
She is also co-founder of the Cookin’ Dublin jazz guide and the Arthur’s Jazz Jam, while
maintaining an active role as a sideman across a range of projects
