Adrian Ortman

Adrian Ortman (1994) was born in Gävle, Sweden. While mainly playing in punk rock bands as a teen, Adrian's father, who is a theatre composer, offered Adrian valuable experience as a professional musician. As his musical ambitions grew in sync with his work in theatre, Adrian started delving into improvised music and jazz. In 2014 he moved to London to study jazz percussion at Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where he graduated from in 2018. In 2019 he released his first record under his own name: Jazz på svengelska, and in 2020 he performed with his trio at Stockholm Jazz Festival. Apart from playing his own material, Adrian also has extensive experience as a sideman.

His debut EP as XOXO ADRIO, For Breakfast, is out on 10th December on Loumi Records. The songs combine modern jazz with punk, topped with dreamy electronic soundscapes.
