I love jazz because it fills me up everytime I hear them play or sing or scat I was first exposed to jazz when I was 3 or 4 years old at home I met Al Jarreau, Lou Donaldson, Keiko Matsui, Cyrus Chestnut, Christian McBride, David "Fathead" Newman, Phil Perry, Jeff Kashiwa, June Kuramoto, Jackiem Joyner, Marion Meadows, Jaye Rowe, Rohn Lawrence, Chris "Big Dog" Davis, Mike "Shorty Bop" Wade - relative, Brian Lenair, Candy Dulfer, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Houston Person, The best show I ever attended was...Prince's Musicology w/Candy Dulfer, Maceo Parker, Renato Neto, to name a few jazz artist on this tour The first jazz record I bought was Al Jarreau My advice to new listeners would be to give jazz a chance, as there are many jazz types, and sub genres to select from, and rest assure that at least one of these will speak to you
