My Jazz Story

I love jazz because...it tests ones musical creativity in the moment...a musical world of endless possibilities I was first exposed to jazz...in 1954 when I heard a Charlie Christian album, shortly followed by Wes Montgomery, John Coltrane and Miles Davis I met [musician name]...a fair few ... but ... well ... don't want to be a name dropper! The best show I ever attended was...to difficult to decide ... however one of the most joyful one's was George Benson in Sydney ...around 1983 ... played for 3 hours non stop ...John McLaughlin, Al De Meola and Paco De lucia, Sydney Town Hall around the same time were pretty amazing! still are! The first jazz record I bought was...Charlie Christian ...can't remember the title. My advice to new listeners...close the mind and let the music in! Or whatever else you have in mind.
