My Jazz Story
I love jazz because it's the only music that really speaks to me.
I was first exposed to jazz in my late teens.
The best show I ever attended was Steve Turre and Sanctified Shells.
The first jazz record I bought was Bitches Brew.
My advice to new listeners is to buy a broad spectrum of jazz and then go deep on what you love the best.
I have a big collection, and so that I get to hear my favorite stuff frequently, I create lots of playlists. I mostly listen to my
collection through my MacBook Pro which goes through a great sound system.
