Multi-instrumentalist, Retired Army Reserve Bandsman, Retired Electronic Technician
I started piano lessons at 8, and have picked up several instruments since then, including Tenor & Bass Trombone, Tuba, guitar, Bass Guitar, and recently drums. I learned to appreciate Jazz from my step-father a jazz trumpeter with a vast record collection. I've lived in Rochester NY my entire life, except for 6 years I spent in the Navy. I retired from a local Army reserve band, and recently retired from Monroe County DOT where I was the electronics foreman for the Traffic Signal Maintenance section. I'm currently playing trombone in 2 big bands, Tuba in a Concert band, and Tuba / Euphonium in a the Pittsford Fire Department Band depending on need.
