My Jazz Story

The indescribably beautiful chords of jazz take me to another plane, where all my troubles disappear... from swing to gypsy to soulful ballads, the improv makes my free spirit dance! I love the fabulous POWER, synergy & vibes of the big swing bands - they rock my soul! And the sweet & beautiful bossa novas speak to my deeply emotional and passionate side (I think I had a previous life in Brazil, lol!). I was first exposed to jazz when I dated a jazz junkie in my 20's (actually hated it at the time, but oh, how it got in my blood as time went on... ). My advice to new listeners would be to realize that the colors of jazz are as broad as the rainbow, and only when you've sampled them all can you truly say "I love jazz" or "I hate jazz" - and I hope it rocks your world as it has mine! :D
