About Me
I am currently a curator for WDNA/Miami “Fusion Latina” program (DJ Andy Harlow) and “The Latin Jazz Quarter” (DJ Robert Heredia). In the past, I have contributed to Latin Beat Magazine (now defunct after 20 years of stellar reporting). Latin jazz musicians are overlooked by the traditional jazz community (e.g. Downbeat recently ran a listing of the Top 100 Jazz musicians and, very sadly, did not include latin musicians). I am hoping that All About Jazz will encourage more latin jazz musicians to become members and to benefit from this associaiton.

I am a latin jazz lover and have supported this genre for several years. My favourite living musicians include Eddie Palmieri’s Sonido Solar on the East Coast
and Oscar Hernandez’ Spanish Harlem Orchestra on the West Coast.
