About Me
I was raised by parents that held season tickets to the opera, symphony, and ballet. My father was on the board of regents for a liberal arts university and my mother was an art gallery proprietor. They both loved jazz as well and made sure to expose me to various artists and styles of the art form. I carry that passion with me to this day.
My Jazz Story
Jazz: By virtue of the holistic quality of it, it takes everything to
do. It requires acting in the now: no draft copies. It takes an alert
state of mind and facile senses. It is unique as no other genre of
music requires such qualities and skill.
