I love jazz because...I grew into it and it keeps my musical mind alive. I was first exposed to jazz...round about 1966 when a friend played me both Dave Brubeck's Time Out and a MJQ record the name of which I've forgotten. I met [musician name]... The best show I ever attended was...SNJO with Arild Anderson The first jazz record I bought was...A Django Reinhart album My advice to new listeners...Don't worry about definitions of what is Jazz, just enjoy it.
