Although I’ve recorded in many studios countless times with different bands, this time it was a really special feeling to be sitting in the recording room all by myself - my guitar, my amp and me. I had to think back to my days as a boxer: the ring, my opponent and me. Nobody there to help you, you have to do it on your own. I hope my first solo work expresses what my intention was: to play in the service of music.
