About Me

Music has always been my passion, I have been playing guitar for around 9 years, during this time I have been lucky enough to play a varied range of musical styles and be taught by some of the best players in the country. Whilst attending high school in Norfolk, I formed my first band and spent my evenings gigging locally (and still managed to get my GCSE's!). After high school I spent two years at a local college studying music and music technology. I then moved to London for a year and studied at the prestigious Guitar Institute, where my love for jazz really began. I have just finished my BA(Hons) at Leeds College of Music, whilst at college I started writing about jazz as well as teaching guitar and playing as many gigs as I could fit in.

My Favorites

  1. Miles Davis - A Kind Of Blue
  2. Joe Pass - For Django
  3. Kurt Rosenwinkel - The Next Step
  4. Michael Brecker - Timeline
  5. Buena Vista Social Club
