Robert Joseph Greene is a Canadian author who grew up with a family of famous musicians.

Robert Joseph Greene is listed in Wikipedia as Canada's only male romantic writer. He is the author of the critically acclaimed anthology: The Gay Icon Classics of the World. His books are written in seven (7) languages. Robert's grandmother is famous concert organist and pianist Desaderal (Newton) Church who was the pianist for “The Family Hour” on WNYC radio. Robert's cousin is none other than Jazz legend Carmen McRae with whom he lived with while attending university. It was through Carmen that Robert was lucky enough to meet Betty Carter, Dizzy Gillespie, Lena Horne, Djavan, and many other creative legends.

My first Jazz festival was the Jackie Robinson Jazz Festival which was hosted on the Estate of Rachel Robinson in Stamford, Connecticut.
