About this image

Ella & The Bossa Beat bring a refined modernism to contemporary bossa, balancing harmonic sophistication with rhythmic vitality. Led by luminous vocalist, pianist, and composer Ella Blu alongside Grammy-nominated drummer/percussionist and producer Magrus Borges, the group is grounded in a rare father-daughter musical connection that brings both intimacy and masterful precision to every performance. Their sound balances reimagined repertoire with original compositions. Ella & The Bossa Beat present a sophisticated yet modern live experience- honoring Brazilian tradition while shaping a distinctly contemporary soulful voice within today’s jazz landscape.
