Currently in post production: 'The Nothing' essentially encompasses, a fear of the dark playing on your imagination, and mindfulness of being alone even in the safest of places- the house you grew up in. The short film is a journey of which we can learn and grow from–taking each challenge and moment to reflect on. As director of photography, Steven Gatti, is experimenting and diving into his subconscious and into his own fears–by confronting his imagination and recreating his experiences in his childhood home. The film will purposefully showcase the location, which plays as big as a role as our protagonist. While our protagonist is an adult physically, we want to exploit the vulnerable side that's in us all. Director Melissa Pellicano will be applying her well-coined pacing noted in films such as; 'Boundaries' and 'Coffee & Sisters', to an unfamiliar genre. The audience will be able to take in and relish in each moment, putting them in the house, in the kitchen, and in 'The Nothing'.
