The Arkansas Jazz Heritage Foundation, which sponsors and maintains the Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame (www.arjazz.org), is an all-volunteer, non-profit corporation dedicated to educating the general public about the historical significance of jazz in Arkansas. Membership is open to any adult interested in preserving, celebrating, and promoting jazz in Arkansas. The Foundation holds a weekly "Meet and Greet" during Monday Jazz Night at The Afterthought (2721 Kavanaugh Boulevard in Little Rock's historic Hillcrest neighborhood) and maintains an active Facebook page where details and photos related to recent/upcoming jazz events in Arkansas are posted.
