Established the first housing Fund to put New Orleans musicians into new homes and keep the old ones from foreclosures, and the Jazz Foundation was the very first to put New Orleans musicians back to work in schools and shelters, and has been employing 200 displaced musicians in 8 states where they have been forced to settle.
