The Animation film “Tides To and Fro"(on the picture film's caps) by famous Russian animator Ivan Maximov, features the soundtrack by the band Sambateria with virtuoso guitarist and 2010 Independent Music Awards winner Roman Miroshnichenko. The film will be a featured participant in the Generation Kplus Programme at the 61st Berlinale Film Festival Competition! This film was inspired by, and developed upon the soundtrack—"Canto De Pilon," a composition recorded by Sambateria, the band of Russian percussionist Arthur Gazarov. Sambateria is featured in the main melody with the guitar solo work of Roman Miroshnichenko. Also featured is American Tony Cimorosi, of New York City, on bass whom Roman invited to participate in the project. In May of 2010 this track was also in the TOP25 of All About Jazz's site downloads.

In an unfortunate turn of events this film has been excluded from the festival competition because video pirates have uploaded the film to one of the largest/best known public video sharing sites. According to festival rules, only films that have not been shown on the internet are eligible for competition. Nevertheless, members of the selection committee were so impressed with the short film that it will still be screened at the Generation festival, but as an exhibition only film.
