Guy Manoukian & Cormac Kenevey to Light up Abu Dhabi Jazz Festival Stage on November 20th

Intensive music shows are to take place at the Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi throughout three consecutive nights starting November 20th till the 22nd, 2008.

The first night will feature the internationally acclaimed musician Guy Manoukian winner of the MUREX award for best composition and best tune in the Arab world, for his hit “Harem” and of the Arab Music Award for Best dance album. The charismatic, Lebanese born composer, will storm the stage with his unique style of classical jazz/oriental music. Manoukian enthralled the strong Lebanese contingent and others with cover versions of traditional Armenian songs ‘jazzed up’ with catchy upbeat rhythms that will have people literally dancing all around.

The leading jazz performer Cormac Kenevey will have a great show-up on this night as well to captivate the audience with his unique blend of melodies. His highly applauded appearance during the 6th edition of Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival brought him back strongly to his UAE fans.

Jonas Desai, the great true-hearted talent will be performing as well with his music blend of guitar driven songs, mixed with highly personal lyrics, set to a catchy pop melody yet sensual and passionate. Jonas will defenitely thrill the crowd with new tracks of his new album to be release before the end of year.

To spice up the night, Marwan & The Mojos will electrify the stage with a versatile and energetic presence. Marwan with his style strongly influenced by David Gilmour, Steely Dan and many other classic rock musicians, is a guitarist and singer and has been fascinating the crowd in the UAE joined by the Mojos, a group of highly talented musicians.
