Devin Richards to Sing at Any Wednesday Series @ Barnes & Nobles Lincoln Triangle

Come and hear Devin sing songs from his debut CD My Own Voice on LMGJAZZ as part of Any Wednesday series at Barnes and Nobles @ Lincoln Triangle - April 1st, 2009 @ 6:00 p.m.

Songs include: “I Wanna Make Music" “'Ol Man River" “Sometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child" and “With Every Breath I Take".

Devin Richards is rehearsing for the forthcoming New York City Centers Encores! production of Finians Rainbow, directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle opening on March 26 th, 2009, and starring Jim Norton, Kate Baldwin and Cheyenne Jackson.

Devin has also appeared in the recent Broadway offerings, “Tale of Two Cities", “110 in the Shade" , “Smokey Joe's Cafe", “The Pajama Game", “Victor/Victoria"; he participated in the concert versions of “Camelot" with the New York Philharmonic at Alice Tully Hall and in “Showboat" and the PBS “South Pacific" with Alec Baldwin and Reba MacIntyre at Carnegie Hall; on TV on “30 Rock" as Black Frasier Crane and in the Emmy award winning, “Passion" with Patti Lupone & Audra McDonald.

Devin is also the voice of the character Dwayne Forge on the highest selling video game, “Grand Auto Theft IV" Audiences have heard his stunning bass baritone voice at the Metropolitan Room, the Algonquin Hotel, Iridium Jazz Club, Birdland and at the After Party at Laurie Beechman Theater.

Devin has sung and performed with a plethora of stars including: Gladys Knight, Lou Rawls, Harry Connick Jr., Julie Andrews, Marilyn Mae, Rosie O'Donnell, Leslie Gore, Rick Springfield, Pam Tillis, Gloria Gaynor, Joan Jett, Cathy Rigby, and Tony Orlando

The Any Wednesday events are free and open to the public. Beginning at 6 PM, unless otherwise noted, the events will take place on the third floor of the Lincoln Triangle Barnes and Noble at 66th and Broadway. Performances last approximately a half hour and are followed by a signing/meet-and-greet session with the artist.
