Shoko Igarashi

Shoko Igarashi is an international musician.

She was born in Yamagata, Japan 1991. She is an accomplished Woodwinds specialist on Alto, Soprano, and Tenor Saxophones and Flute.

She is also an arranger and Composer. Currently living and working in New York City.

Shoko began studying tenor saxophone in elementary school. She attended the music high school, Senzoku Gakuin High School, and received classical and basic Jazz training. In 2012, Shoko was accepted as a scholar student for Berklee College of Music.

At the same time, she began establishing herself locally as one of the top Jazz musicians. She graduated from Berklee college of music and received her bachelor's degree. Since moving to New York City in 2015, Shoko quickly began playing in many popular jazz venues.
