When music captures you, it’s your heart, soul and breath… it is your everything!

Rob Fulton grew up, breathing, eating and sleeping music, his earliest and most influential is his mother, Margaret Sharrock who was a touring Gospel singer. It is her guidance and support that inspired Rob Fulton to become a musician.

He started performing at an early age learning guitar after his mother enrolled him in music school. In elementary school he played trombone in the marching band; and continued his passion for music by learning piano in college at S.U.N.Y. Old Westbury studying under Dr. Makanda Ken McIntyre and later as a singer where he was the lead singer with The Dynatones. He is always developing his talent and musicality by continuing to be coached with stellar musicians like: Dr. Barry Harris, Marion Cowings, Janet Lawson, Tulivu - Donna Cumberbatch.

Rob’s great amiability on stage allows you to join him on life’s journey. His voice is warm but also with a chilled vibe, singing with a slight vibrato but not losing any of the soul and integrity of his music. The romance and beauty of songs like “Blame It On My Youth” or “Embraceable You”. And in the next moment you’ll want to dance as he swings hard with “Yardbird Suite” “A Night In Tunisia” or “Jeannine”... Every song is a journey and an emotional treasure.

Performing at some of the world’s most incredible venues Rob’s style is a perfect fit for clubs like: Snug Harbor, Minton's, Harlem Mist, Metropolitan Room, Swing46, Jazz 966, The Brownstone Jazz, Club Bonafide…

His ease, affability, versatility and musicality is highlighted with support from his stellar core musicians: Danny Mixon (piano), TK Blue (alto|flute), Paul Beaudry (bass), and Dwayne "Cook" Broadnax (drums). He has also performed with some of the industries most influential and stellar musicians like: Nat Adderley, Jr., Johnny O'Neal, Patience Higgins, Dearnst Emile, Rufik, Les Kurtz,, Bill Saxon, Eddie Russell, TK Blue, Marcus Persiani, Eric Lemon, Dave Gibson, Lafayette Harris, Gerald Hayes, Will Terrill, Stanley Banks, Dave Colding, Davell Crawford, Delfeayo Marsalis, Reggie Workman, Berta Hope, Danny Dalelio, Nitzan Gavrieli and so many other brilliant artists.
