PulciPerla

PulciPerla is the incandescent alchemy between two worlds: Pulcinella, a Toulouse-based band with an irresistible groove fusing jazz, funk, musette, and psychedelia (Jazz in Marciac, Radio France, Jazz à Vienne, London Jazz Festival…), and La Perla, a Colombian trio of singers, rappers, and percussionists reinventing Afro-Caribbean traditions (Les Vieilles Charrues, Sziget, Womex, Shambala…).

Since 2019, the group has been electrifying stages across France and Colombia with a magnetic and intensely contagious energy. Their debut album Tatekieto was released in February 2025 on Prado Records. Gaita flutes, percussion, saxophone, keyboards, double bass, drums, electronics, vocals, and rap intertwine in an innovative and richly hybrid musical architecture. The album was nominated for the Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik (German Record Critics’ Award) in the World Music category.

PulciPerla is a collision of tribal rhythms and mutant funk, an urban trance fueled by cumbia, bullerengue, funk, jazz, and psychedelic rock.
