Parker Speirs

Parker’s solo guitar EP, Mingling, was released in December of 2020. His jazz trio album, The Layman, will be released digitally on December 7th, 2021. He is a member of The Inventures, a trio taking on Bach, rock, and more. Their album, Outside The Bach’s, is available to stream on any platform. In addition to his own groups, Parker has lended his talents to many great artists on the stage and in the recording studio including pop acts like Mimi Knowles, Van Lady Love, The Strike, as well as other contemporary artists like Emmanuel Trifilio, Sherele, Kurt Reeder, Ryan Conger, David Halliday, and many others.

Parker grew up in the Phoenix, Arizona area where he developed an early interest in the guitar. Though his starting point was blues and classic rock, he quickly developed an interest in jazz, classical, metal, and many other genres of music as he developed his abilities as a guitarist and composer. Since then, Parker has kept busy as a sideman, band leader, and educator in many geographies across the United States. He is just as comfortable backing up a pop act in front of a big crowd as he is playing standards in a jazz club or going deep in the studio. Parker holds a master’s degree in guitar studies and frequently teaches and performs. He is currently based out of Dallas, Texas.
