Faye Bradford's passion for singing started at a tender age where she started singing in the Black Church. Over the years, she has perform backup for Ms. Aretha Franklin, Martha Reeves, Bettye Lavette, and Millie Jackson. Faye Bradford has been heard live at the Detroit Jazz Festival and at numerous other festivals and venues throughout Michigan.
Faye Bradford's uncanny resembles the famous Nina Simone in her performances. Faye often imitates Nina while performing with the The Satin Doll Revue in Detroit.
Faye Bradford performs with The Soul City Band who perform in the Metro-Detroit area, Flint, and Lansing. The group is versatile in R&B, Blues, Gospel, Folk and Jazz and has some of Detroit's top musicians who accompany Faye Bradford. Her audience represents a global diverse culture.
