Nahokimama

Nahokimama is a multi-instrumentalist who effortlessly plays trumpet, guitar, keyboards, and vocals. Rooted in jazz and classical music, her warm and dreamlike performance style—reflecting the unique world of “Kimama”—has earned recognition both in Japan and overseas.

In 2024, she released the collaborative album SCENE with Toshiki Soejima via the global label Stereofox, which received airplay on the BBC and other international media. In 2025, she appeared as one of the few Japanese artists featured on Chillhop Timezones Japan, a compilation curated by the world-renowned label Chillhop Music. As the beatmaker for more than half of the tracks on Kimama Beats, her latest album with Toshiki Soejima, she continues to explore the intersection between organic instruments and modern production.

Through her YouTube series Kimama Sketch, Nahokimama performs every instrument herself, creating an intimate, immersive sonic and visual experience—showcasing her artistry as a captivating solo performer.
