Nadine-Lee Marklinger is a jazz-soul singer-author-songwriter who's taking over the Ottawa region with her band Nadine Marklinger & the Jazz Fixx. This group appeals to jazz-soul lovers everywhere with its solid repertoire made up of captivating original material, timeless standards such as Besame Mucho, Fever, Ain’t no sunshine and I put a spell on you, as well as the more eclectic I Will Survive and Imagine revamped in the band’s personal style. The enigmatic, colorful and deep voice of Nadine-Lee will enchant and transport the listener into her own world.

They hold their inspiration from such varied geniuses as Pink Floyd, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Oliver Jones, Getz & Gilebrto, Muddy Waters, Miles Davis, Nina Simone, and Nat King Cole. Their style is a fusion of the past and the present incorporating the cozy lounge sound with just the right amount of improvisation and mystery. Nadine’s smoky voice accented with funky-soul twists adapts to any venue.
