Daniel Guanuco

DANIEL GUANUCO was born in Tucumán, Argentina, in 1981. He is currently based in Córdoba, Argentina. He studied Jazz Guitar by taking private lessons with Prof. Daniel Corzo. He studied Classical Guitar with Prof. Patricia Chiappa at Conservatorio Superior de Música de Córdoba, and graduated with the title of Technician in Art of Music with Guitar Guidance. He has attended several seminars, courses, workshops, clinics and conferences by prestigious national and international musicians such as: John Stowell, Sid Jacobs, Pino Marrone, Richard Smith, David Becker, Michael Jefry Stevens, Michael Tracy, Pekka Pylkkánen, Mika Pohjola, Bruce Spradley, Paul Campiglia, Bruce Becker, Jonas Johansen, Fredrik Lundin, Ben Besiakow, Jesper Bodilsen, Tomas Janzon, Eric Leboucher - Radiguet, Thomas Brendgens – Mönkemeyer, Luigi Bozzolan, Eugenio Colombo, Ari Hoenig, Albert Bover, Bebo Ferra, Marcelo Escrich, Luis D’Agostino, Francisco Lo Vuolo, Marcelo Cáceres, Fico De Castro, Daniel Colombres, Marcos De Ros, Pablo Soler , Julio Azcano, Aquiles Báez, Carlé Costa, Sebastián Zambrana, Carlos Aguirre, Alfredo Escande, Silvia Sufé, Alejandro Parino, R omán Carballo, Gabriel Bartolomei, Walter Heinze, Rafael Andía, y Victor Villadangos.

ARTISTIC ACTIVITY As an Independent Musician, he organizes and produces his own presentations. During the course of his career he has performed in various formats with outstanding musicians of national and international scene such as: Fito Ferreyra, José Losano, Matías Lagos, Raúl Giró, César Iudicello, Emilio Pasquini, Matías González, Pedro Ferreyra, Guillermo Acosta, Romina Mercedes Plot, David Majul Akiki, Luciano Soria (Va. María, Cba.), Julio Goytía (Tucumán), Esteban Ramos (Va. Mercedes, San Luis), Juan Ignacio Puente (La Plata, Bs. As.), Leo Selmer (Francia). Also he integrated "Flat Five Jazz Trio" and "Pardon Me Duet". Currently he is developing his solo project "Virtual Ways", based in his own compositions, in which he explores the mixture of the real sounds of his guitar with digitally processed sounds. Specialized criticism has referred to Daniel Guanuco by saying: "No unnecessary demonstrations of virtuosity, he improvises subtly by distilling melodic ideas”

TEACHING ACTIVITY Since 2005 he teaches private Guitar lessons. In 2008 he served as Guitar Teacher at Escuela de Música "La Fusa", in Cordoba. Between 2010 and 2012 he gave Guitar lessons at Instituto de Música “El Nuevo Puente”, in Villa Allende, Córdoba. Between 2010 and 2012 he dictated Guitar lessons at Taller “Entren!!...ARTE”, in Córdoba. In 2011 he dictated the Guitar Workshop of Cultural Workshops Program of the Facultad de Ciencias Económicas de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, en Córdoba.

Between 2010 and 2012 he dictated Guitar lessons at Taller “Entren!!...ARTE”, in Córdoba. In 2011 he dictated the Guitar Workshop of Cultural Workshops Program of the Facultad de Ciencias Económicas de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, en Córdoba. Since 2009 he integrates the teachers staff of Conservatorio de Música "Juan Sebastián Bach" and, simultaneously, since 2012, he continues his work by dictating Guitar Lessons at Taller Creativo Musical “Al Toque”, in Córdoba. He also produced and dictated conferences and Guitar Clinics for different levels in various institutions of Argentina.
