KEVIN BLANCQ Trumpeter/Educator

A native of New Orleans, Kevin Blancq was born in 1964 and began musical studies with piano at age 9, trumpet at 10, and drums at 13. At the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), Kevin studied both jazz (w/Ellis Marsalis) and classical styles while performing in a variety of musical settings
