Sharouh

Mediterranean DJ and producer Sharouh crafts and remixes gems from the Middle East, the Maghreb, Greece, and Turkey. Passionate about the musical syncretism born from encounters between Arab, Judeo-Arab and Mizrahi cultures, she is particularly interested in the role women have played in shaping this heritage. Sharouh delivers an irresistibly danceable set blending electro, acid, and at times punk influences, where feminist speech samples intertwine with oriental percussion and analog synths. She both plays Dj sets and Live electronic performances.
