Josh Klamka

Hailing from Albany, New York, Josh Klamka is a keyboardist and performer based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Josh Klamka is a recent graduate of Temple University’s jazz program, and now teaches and performs around the city. He is a regular performer at Chris’ Jazz Cafe, Bob and Barbara’s Lounge, Time, Midnight & the Wicked, and NotSoLatin.

Josh Klamka began studying classical piano at age 5 at The Music Studio in Albany, and began studying jazz at age 14 with Brian Axford and David Gleason. While living in Albany, Josh Klamka formed the Center Square Jazz Collective with other like minded young musicians. He was the recipient of the Woody Herman Jazz Award from his high school, and was a member of Empire State Youth Jazz Orchestra. Josh later moved to Philadelphia to study Jazz piano at Temple University, studying with Tim Brey, Elio Villafranca, Bruce Barth, Matt Brewer, and Vicente Archer.
