Youthmovies

Youthmovies formed in Oxford, UK, and consists of Graeme Murray (drums, percussion, backing vocals), Stephen Hammond (bass), Samuel Hudson Scott (brass, keys, backing vocals), Al English (guitar, backing vocals), and Andrew Mears (vocals, guitar). The band have previously been known as Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies. To date, the band have released one full album, two mini-albums, three singles, a collaborate EP with Adam Gnade and three limited edition tour-only CDRs. Youthmovies recently recorded their full-length debut album 'Good Nature', which was released on Drowned In Sound recordings on March 17th. Amongst others, Youthmovies have toured with iForward, Russia!, 65daysofstatic and Blood Red Shoes... Played shows with Liars, Advert Shock , Pinback, Mission of Burma, Biffy Clyro, Bloc Party, Death Cab for Cutie, Foals, Built to Spill and Cursive... As well as playing both improvised and regular sets at Leeds (as Saul Williams backing band), Reading, Bestival, All Tomorrows Parties, Truck and Latitude festivals.
