Low Hummer

Encapsulating The North of England’s vibrant DIY music scene, Hull five piece ‘Low Hummer’ are set to take 2019 by storm with an arsenal of deadpan post-punk anthems. Brought up on a diet of chip spice and patty butties, in the sweat dripping walls of The Adelphi, Low Hummer are a battered, bruised and wired bunch of odd bods armed with synth, drum machine and distorted guitars (not forgetting a scratched copy of ‘Surfer Rosa’ in their back pocket) Featuring members of Embrs, Shipping Forecast, La Bête Blooms and Late Night Fiction the band tease at what’s to come next year with ‘Us Up North’ (released via The Adult Teeth Recording Company), it’s a rallying cry to ditch the North and South preconceptions, out on October 23rd 2018.
