From Rio de Janeiro, 7-string guitarist Daniel Marques recently won the greatest award in his country, the 'Brazilian Grammy' known as the Prêmio da Música Brasileira (2010). “The Brazilian Award was for my last project called Frevo Diabo Orchestra. I created that band, produced the awarded CD and directed the band, also composing and making arrangements. My new project is like a microcosm of the orchestra."
