Lapsley

Now ten years into her career as an independent artist, Låpsley broke onto the scene as a teenager with debut album Long Way Home - producing instant-classics in the likes of ‘Hurt Me’ and ‘Operator’. Its followup, Through Water, may have dropped days before the first lockdown, but proudly asserted Holly's queer identity and her intent as a more socially-conscious artist. Holly's love of Pop has also found a natural outlet as a songwriter for others, with a platinum disc for the hit single ‘Out Out’ and has recent collaborations ranging from Barry Can’t Swim or hotly-tipped UK girl-band Say Now to Paloma Faith. In third album Cautionary Tales of Youth, Låpsley chronicled those turbulent coming-of-age experiences in her most cathartic, eclectic work thus far. Latest single 'Church' begins a new creative chapter to follow.
