André KLENES.Bass player and composer, André Klenes was borned in Vielsalm (Belgium) onfebruary 14, 1954. He obtained the first prize for double bass and chambermusic at the Royal Conservatory at Liège, Belgium. He has worked extensivelyas a classical musician, playing concerts and making recordings with theRadioSymphonic Orchestra, the National Brussel's Orchestra, the PhilharmonicOrchestra from Liège and the Royal Opéra de Wallonie. As a Jazz musician, hehas taken part in a number of seminars (with Jean-Louis Rassinfosse, SteveHouben, Charles Loos and John Clayton) and has appeared with JacquesPelzer,Jean-Pierre Catoul and others. He is regularly involved with the majoreducational project in Belgium, Les Jeunesses Musicales. He has also, since1986, been bass soloist with the ensemble of the French singer-songwriterWilliam Sheller. André Klenes founded "Adam’s Dream" in 2000, first as astrings quintet, also as a cello & bass duo, and recently as a Strings & DrumsQuartet; he produced and recorded 5 albums with this project for the labelChamber/AMG. In 2006, he recorded an album with the finger-style guitarplayer Jacques Stotzem. Late 2006, he also created for the Arthur Rimbaud Museum in Charleville-Mezières (France) a concept album : "Ballade sur le nom de Rimbaud". In 2007, he joined the german tango nuevo quartet "JassTango"and recorded in 2008 for Topaz/Köln. Late 2008, he produced a new album with his Strings & Drums quartet : "MOONLY DELIGHTS"(Chamber/AMG). In 2012, Moonly Delight Quartet,"Live at Marni" (Brussel/BE). 2019, Luz da Lua "Illuminations". In 2023, Luz da Lua, "Twilight".
