3 x prizes as best bands on the occasion of jazz contest of the international jazz festival in San Sesbastian Spain. 1976 ( 2nd prize with Puls) 1981 (2nd prize with Klaus-Werner Pusch sextet) and 1983 1 st prize with the Swiss SJS Big-band. 1980 5000 DM Prize of Gema Endowment for my Composition " (destination) sponsoring my jazz and composition Studies at SJS in Bern Switzerland.
