Ingo Weiss
Ingo plays the alto and baritone saxophone, the EWI (Electric Wind Instrument) and uses his notebook for live electronics - his musical focus is on experimental improvised music:
"Communication, improvisation, sound, chance, and interaction are terms that define my music. I like to create music that suprises (even myself) and that invites the listener to discover new aspects and details with each listening. Combining acoustic instruments with the possibility of processing sounds in real time and redesigning them allows me to create musical structures that invite the listener to listen beyond established rules and to questioning their listening habits while opening new doors to their musical perception."
Ingo is a member of the Peter Stock Trio (the former bass player of Alfred Harth's 'Just Music'), he plays with Bernhard Guenter (who recorded 'Un Peu de Neige Salie', listed as one of the 'Top 100 Albums that set the world on fire' by The Wire) and founded the duo 'Meyja' with Horst Gottlob.
