Diane Moser's Composers Big Band

A 17 piece big band formed for the purpose of developing and presenting new music. Beginning in January of 1997 with monthly concerts, the CBB features the music of nine resident composers as well as special guest composers and performers.

Resident composers are: Jim Cifelli,Marty Fogel,Matt Haviland,Rob Henke,Rob Middleton,Diane Moser,Chris Rogers,Erick Storckman,Ed Xiques,Craig Yaremko and Russ Vines.

Guest composers/performers which have included; Frank Bennett, Judy Bady, Jackie Cain, Richie Cole,Richard DeRosa,Mark Dresser, Satoko Fujii, Mark Helias, Gerry Hemingway, Calvin Hill, Mike Holober, Howard Johnson, Sy Johnson, Bill Kirchner, Oliver Lake, Tina Marsh, Andy McKee, Jim McNeely, Bill Mobley, Kirk Nurock, Frank Perowsky, Rufus Reid, Michele Rosewoman,J.C. Sanford, Joey Sellers, Norman Simmons, Lisa Sokolov, Marvin Stamm, Michael Jefrey Stevens, Rory Stewart, Natsuki Tamura, Sue Terry, Walter Thompson, Noriko Ueda, Russ Vines, Melissa Walker, Matt Wilson, Eliot Zigmund and many others.

The band has performed at these festival and venues:Lake George Jazz Festival, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, Cecil's Jazz Club, Burgdorff Cultural Center, Jersey Jazz by the Lake, 12 Miles West Theater Company,Tierney's Tavern, Trumpets Jazz Club.
