Drummer Matt Jorgensen is in Denver this week for the opening of Dale Chisman In Retrospect an exhibition of paintings by the noted Denver abstractionist. Jorgensen's recent recording, Tattooed by Passion, is based on the paintings of Chisman, who is his wife's late-father. Dale Wasserman, a playwright best known for writing the book for the Tony Award- winning Broadway musical Man of La Mancha and the stage version of Ken Kesey's novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, has died. He was 94.
Wasserman died Sunday of congestive heart failure at his home in Paradise Valley, Ariz., said Richard Warren, a friend.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Dale Norris, an alto saxophonist who played in the Stan Kenton Orchestra in the early 1960s and toured with the big bands of Tommy Dorsey and Henry Mancini, died of lung cancer Tuesday. He was 68.
Family members said Mr. Norris was diagnosed with the disease in April.
