Cryptodira is a 4-piece progressive/experimental metal band from Long Island, NY. With an ever-twisting sound full of surprises, Cryptodira seeks to add a dirty edge to the polished sound that is usually associated with progressive metal. The band rather seamlessly blends a Converge or Dillinger Escape Plan brand of chaos with lengthy song structures and manic time changing for a beautiful, yet ruthlessly aggressive sound.
