Brooke Sings, Band Swings

Brooke Sings, Band Swings is a jazz quartet comprised of some of Iowa’s best musicians. The group, based in Iowa City, performs classic jazz standards as well as their own jazz styled covers of recent pop and country songs. Brooke Sings, Band Swings is the house band at the Clinton Street Social Club in Iowa City, where they are known as the “Clinton Street 4”.

The group is comprised of vocalist Brooke Lunsford, saxophonist Jeff Miguel, upright bassist Blake Shaw, and pianist Grace Leong. All members are either graduates or current students of the University of Iowa Jazz Studies program.

The band also enjoys performing for special events and private parties around the area.
