Based in murky (but “mint”) Manchester, Boomerang Parlour combine acid techno, jazz and hip-hop to create their sound.
Founded by guitarist and song-scribbler Will Havard, the group pool from a compelling concoction of influences from The Police, Paul Simon and Pat Metheny to Squarepusher, Cocteau Twins and Jojo Mayer/Nerve. Bringing a blend of cinematic themes, dance-(ish) grooves and engaging improvisation together with an infectious energy, they like the pretty stuff as well as the glitchy stuff
