Ana Maria Galea

Ana Maria Galea was born in Galati . She graduated from the University of Theater in Tg. Mures, Drama major. She made her debut in jazz, in 2007. From her debut Ana Maria Galea was invited to perform at festivals and events of notoriety , such as" Night of Museums", " Leonard Festival ", " Summer Jazz and Poetry at Mogoşoaia Palace ", " Acoustic Live " organized by the Czech Centre , Book Fair " Libri Vox " – Deva, as well as jazz clubs and theaters across the country . The artist was invited to sing with Matt Maneri and Lucian Ban within the project "Musical Days of Targu Mures" organized by The State Philharmonic Tg. Mures. Ana Maria Galea distinguishes herself through her creativity and a unique capacity of synthesis, combining in a unique way dramatic art and her passion for music. Her tutors and mentors in the music field are: Anca Parghel, Pedro Negrescu and Mircea Tiberian. Besides concerts, Ana Maria leads a continuous campaign to promote jazz music through volunteering projects, radio shows, organization and promotion of concerts. The artist is also the initiator of the "Evenings of Jazz and Classical Music project at Radio Station Romania Tg. Mures” and “The International Student Jazz Festival" .In the last mentioned she participated as the first edition project manager.
