Adrian is one of the UK’s most in-demand tuba and cimbasso players. He enjoys a varied freelance career involving orchestral, opera, ballet, chamber and studio playing, and teaching. His orchestral work takes him all over the UK and Europe with orchestras such as The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Philharmonia, BBC Symphony and BBC Concert Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, City of Birmingham Orchestra, Welsh National Opera, The John Wilson Orchestra, Aurora Orchestra, Tenerife Symphony, Ireland’s RTE National Symphony Orchestra and Concert Orchestra, L’Orchestre de La Suisse romande and Mahler Chamber Orchestra.

Trumpeter Toby Street and tuba player Adrian Miotti formed Neoteric Ensemble to explore modern compositions and find new inspiration for themselves and their audiences. The debut album from this distinctive sextet features an intriguing line-up of woodwind and brass. Street and Miotti are joined by Sarah Field on saxophone and trumpet, trombonist Richard Watkin, trumpeter James Fountain and saxophonist Rob Buckland. All the musicians have a predominantly classical music background and are no strangers to major UK orchestras.
