Adam Duritz (born August 1, 1964 in Baltimore, Maryland) is the lead singer of alternative powerhouse Counting Crows. Before forming Counting Crows in San Francisco, CA in 1990, Duritz had formerly been in bands Himalayans and Sordid Humor.
