My Jazz Story

I love jazz because... It encompasses everything. I was first exposed to jazz... In a Detroit loft party in the 1980's with Marcus Belgrave. Probably before that but, that is where it really took hold of me. Im so fortunate to have met so many giants of the music. The best show I ever attended was... Oh man, too many to call one out. The first jazz record I bought was... Maybe Kind Of Blue? My advice to new listeners... If you don't like it, try someone else. You can find anything in this music.
