Wenso Ashby

I grew up in the Midwest listening to top 100. I fell in love with Jazz the moment I heard Joe Sample. Keep in mind that jazz comes in many forms. I respect all music; however, the piano speaks to me in a way that touches my soul. As a kid I could play any instrument until I discovered that the piano could do it all. I later went on to become a ghost writer and producer in DC. I made tracks for R&B and Hip-Hop Artists until one day I heard someone say something so disturbing that I became super conscience and realized that my mother, sister and daughter could never listen to my music with them type of lyrics. Later, one of the Agents for the label came to me and said that jazz was my calling and encouraged me to leave and pursuit my true passion as a pianist.
